THE FILM

“Choose Life” is a docudrama from Tempest Pictures, filmed and created in conjunction with the Nixa, MO Police Department, Fire Protection District, and the Nixa High School Drama Department. The short docudrama was created for the state’s use during the national Safe and Sober Prom Night event. It is the belief of Tempest Pictures that our ability to create emotionally effective films is an asset that should be used for the good of society, not just entertainment. With the blessing of the City of Nixa, the short docudrama was filmed and completed, and is set to be screened to students during the national event for many years to come.

Filmed and edited completely in high definition, “Choose Life” marked a great stepping stone for Tempest Pictures as we began to branch out from simply film festivals, and make the transition to public works while partnering with the local community and law enforcement to create a truly powerful film that will find its greatest audience and use not in a small screening theater, but in the hands of community leaders and public activists.
